    高炉矿渣微粉(GGBFS/GGBS)是一种超细微粒的混和料，主要应用于混凝土生产，尤其是预拌混凝土。在预拌混凝土的生产中，高炉矿渣微粒(GGBFS/GGBS)取代很大一部分普通水泥，其取代量占到了50%-70%的比例。比例越高，耐久性越好。高炉矿渣微粒(GGBFS/GGBS)同样运用于其他的混凝土生产。

    铁矿石会还原成铁水，炉渣浮于铁水之上，经周期性到渣可以得到，如果炉渣用于制造高炉矿渣微粒，需要迅速把矿渣淬火，经淬火后，可以得到粘性和粒度很好的粗砂，在干燥后得到微粒。
